During Disasters, we work directly with the Brevard County
Emergency Management. They have the latest information on Shelters,
Evacuation, Special Needs, as well as other important information. We also
provide rehab (food/refreshments) to Firefighters in the field during major
fires.
We were activated during the Tornados in the first months of 1998, then later
activated during the Fires around Florida, then came the Hurricanes. 1998
was a busy year.
We also provide Communications to assist other Non Profit Organizations,
such as Special Olympics, March of Dimes, Vietnam Vetrans of Brevard (when
the Wall replica is here), Walk-a-thons, Melbourne Christmas Parade, and
other Organizations.
