A B O U T     R E A C T


All members of  REACT  worldwide, are volunteers, with only one paid person who runs the Main Office at  REACT  International Headquarters. We survive solely by your tax exempt donations. All money and equipment donated (and tax deductible) remain in the local area.


 REACT  International and All REACT Teams were Awarded The Presidents Volunteer Action Award. We are proud to be among the First Organizations to receive this Award established by President Ronald Reagan.

Governor Lawton Chiles met with the Florida Council of  REACT  Teams, John Knott and members of Kissimmee Valley  REACT  . Governor Chiles wanted to thank the supporting personnel of the Wildfires in Florida.

The Florida Council of  REACT  Teams was then presented with a Letter and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Governors Office.

ONE OF OUR SUPPORTERS



The Salvation Army has always been there during times of Disasters and Calamities such as the Tornados, Fires and Hurricanes, not only in Florida but around the Country. However, they need your help in donations to keep going.

Contact the National Salvation Army Headquarters or the nearest Salvation Army in your city. In Brevard County there are two offices, in Melbourne at 407-724-0494, and Cocoa at 407-632-6060.

We, in  REACT  appreciate The Salvation Army for letting us hold our Meetings in their building.
